I've heard nothing but good things about this flick.  Thinking I might go see it next week after all.  But, usually when a movie gets so much hype, it ends up being a disappointment.  We'll see...

I think I'll just skip the whole N-word part. It's not worth my time, or yours.

Woah.

I was hanging on for dear life, enjoying the ride immensely, when...  You know when you're reading a book and all of a sudden, for no reason, the POV switches mid scene, certain elements are left hanging, and the plot gets a little tangled up?  For me, that's how it felt during the last twenty minutes.
It's partially my fault.  Because little Miss Clever Clogs here had it aallllll figured out - that this and that was going to happen - that this or that part wasn't real - that whathisface and whatshername were not whom they were supposed to be etc etc.
And I suspect, in anticipation of this, the director, in the midst of pulling all the threads together, spun that top, took an abrupt step back and said 'Ha. Now figure it out.'  The rascal.

Very stylish, can't fault the actinz, the Hans Zimmer soundtrack rocked, and it was good to see Ken Watanabe once again.

Not a film to go and see if you're drunk, or bombed out on painkillers, thats for sure.

Sounds like you made the better choice in movies.  But I can blame my mother - she talked me into seeing 'it' today. (I'm too embarrassed to admit what 'it' was.)  cwm10

Deb, if it was ~~cough~~ Twilight ~~cough~~ I feel your pain. I saw it earlier in the week and I can't even...  I mean, what happened? Seriously?  I promised my neices (Team Edwards, all) to keep my trap shut, but, but - the sound jumped all over the place, the editing was atrocious. And I counted at least half a dozen pairs of jorts.

Uh, yeh.  I admit it.  My mom kept glaring at me because I couldn't help but laugh in all the 'wrong' places.  Also, I thought it was funny that there was no blood spilt anywhere.  These are vamps, right?  Anyway, never again!
